A true one-off kit, this was specially built for long-time endorsee Craig Blundell in 2021* and was first used on the Steve Hackett Seconds Out tour.

Now is probably a good time to show you this very special rig as it’s the only one in existence. It’s a 1 of 1 Mapex Drums USA Design Lab Cherry Bomb concert tom rig 8 through 18 with my signature Machine and Predator snares. I sat down a while ago and thought how cool it would be to pay my respects to this iconic album [Genesis - Seconds Out], with my own flavour thrown in, and 20 months later my dear friends and Mapex brought my sketches to life.

Look at it - just look at it! Personally - and without a single word of exaggeration - this is the most aspirational kit I've seen since I saw the Premier ET6 back in the 1980s. As a massive Phil Collins/Genesis fan, if I win the lottery, I am 100% bribing Mapex to make me one of these. The nearest I have to it is two concert toms I had made from two 8" Orions. Just 5 more shells to go!

* Well that's when he took delivery of it. The pandemic threw a spanner in the works and must have delayed the build. Craig mentions that it had been 546 days since they had played together!
