Welcome to the Design Lab! Four new models emerge from this new Black Panther range: the Heartbreaker, the Equinox and two sizes of the updated Cherry Bomb. 

• The Heartbreaker is a 14"x6" mahogany shell with 3.4mm reinforcing rings in Natural Satin. (This is just my personal opinion but I think it's one of the prettiest looking natural finishes I've ever seen! Chris)
• The Equinox is a 14"x5" maple shell with reinforcing rings and, uniquely across the entire Mapex snare range, features single flange hoops.
• The two new Cherry Bombs (14"x6" & 13"x5.5") are now finished in Natural Satin rather than the bright red of the original model. 

Going by the Japanese price list, the range no longer includes the Nomad, the Phantom or the Retrosonic. The old model Cherry Bomb is still there, presumably due to selling through stock.
