Overview
Unfortunately I don't have a lot of details about this particularly gorgeous example of Shimano San's work. Unlike most of the Mapex/Beyond Shimano collaboration snares, where I got all the information from the man himself by stalking his Facebook posts (with permission I might add!), I spotted this one on eBay from a seller in Japan in October 2022. I've double checked and can't see an appropriate post from Shimano San. As there are no details at all on dr_nine's eBay listing apart from the model number, I'm just including the basic information I can see from the photos.
I'm calling the finish "Dark Gold" Quilted Maple, since the model number ends in DG and it seems appropriate.
It's extremely pretty, so maybe Shimano San will remember something about it. Watch this space.
