Overview
These 8mm Maple, chrome die-cast hoop snares only seem to be listed in the 1997 Black Panther Catalogue, at a time where Mapex seemed to be making a drum out of every material going and in every size imaginable - there's over 40 snares listed!
They're badged as "Bird's Eye Maple".
This is the last model left on the site site without any sort of accurate image. I can't even find one low-res crop from an old catalogue, so if you happen to spot any photos of it, or better still you actually have one, please do get in touch!
