Overview
Like its traditional maple counterpart, the Black Panther Birdseye Maple gives you a warm, rich tone and the versatility of a finely crafted thin maple shell. The birdseye maple outer ply is produced in a sleek flat black finish.
This model was part of the initial Black Panther range launch in 1997, but was retired in 2002, and is very difficult to find on the second-hand market these days. Indeed, up until May 2023, the only image I had was a really low-resolution crop from an old catalogue. Then one suddenly appeared on eBay in Germany, and Martin the seller was kind enough to let me use his photos!
