Overview

This is a prototype for the production model of the Equinox Black Panther snare, the clear difference being the shell finish. 

It surfaced on Reverb in June 2026 and was flagged up on Facebook (sorry to the user who flagged it - I'm trying to track you down after FB helpfully refreshed the feed!) and at the time of writing was still available here on Bentley's Drum Shop.

I've written to Bentley's to check photo permissions and to see if I can get the back story of how they came by this unique snare. The FB post mentioned that they had bought some of Russ Miller's collection which is plausible but I need to verify that.
