Overview
Black Panther Phosphor Bronze Snares produce a unique sound that possesses the clarity and brightness that you would expect from a metal shell, but with a warmth and depth of a wood snare drum.
Like all the Black Panther piccolo snares that were in both the pre and post 2004 ranges, the throw off will either be the original classic single cam or later Orion type, depending on where and when it was made.

One more "score one for the power of social media". I spotted an example of the original Precious Metal badged version of this model on an eBay listing from a user called John (chaz8881) in early January 2023. Unfortunately I couldn't contact him to ask permission to use his photos as the option wasn't available, I assume because he didn't ship internationally and I was the wrong side of the pond. I reached out to the Facebook group and Bob Holmes from Ohio was kind enough to play middle man, and John agreed to sharing his shots. And in the meantime, in a "two-for-one" deal, long time contributer Zack Cruz spotted my request and sent me photos of his Precious Metal badged version too! How good is that?
Social media gets a bad rap but sometimes it really does a great job eh!
