Overview
Technically this is a Precious Metal series snare rather than badged Black Panther. But that series was rebranded as Black Panther Precious Metal a couple of years after this was shown in the 2002 catalogue, so we're giving it the benefit of the doubt.
If it looks like a Black Panther and roars like a Black Panther...
This and its 14" sibling are the only two models to use the double-ended oval piccolo lugs on a standard depth, albeit only 5" deep, shell. All three models of this style of stainless steel were dropped from the range sometime between August and December 2002
