Overview
Another Thomann special Edition that I spotted on one of my random trawls around the net in March 2022. It was on an old listing from Horny's Drums and Jake himself was kind enough to send over the shots. Apparently this was actually one of his personal snares he had sold off, and to quote Jake, "BOY was it special!". His description at the time does it justice so I'll leave it to him...
This snare drum is a beauty!
14" x 6.5" Mapex Black Panther 6-ply birch snare drum, fitted with die-cast hoops, BP lugs and double adjustable throw off, this snare means business. The sounds is dark and powerful, and records like a dream.
September 2022 Update: I found the original listing on the Thomann site for this model on the Wayback machine. It's from late 2011!
