An elongated version of the double-ended low-mass oval lugs, used exclusively on a few models of piccolo snare, like the Deep Forest and Aluminium lines. The advantage of this design over the standard double-ended is that it allows slightly more tuning range, as the lug can be a little longer and has more room in the lug box.
