Introduced with the range refresh in 2010 and still in use on Black Panthers well over a decade later, albeit only on the Design Lab Cherry Bomb models (correct April 2022). The design aesthetic echoes the old One Point Tube Lugs - certainly that was Mapex's line when they brought out the limited edition Retrosonic Kit in 2012.

These are technically referred to by Mapex as "Type I Lugs" but I'm not sure exactly where that comes from. Inline maybe? If I find out I'll update this page. Also, it's not particularly helpful as the lugs on the 2020+ Designer series are called "Mastertune I Lugs" but they are totally different.
