The original Deep Forest badge, used on Deep Forest kits and snares from their introduction in around 2002 until sometime around 2004 when it was replaced with the oval badge.

There are two versions of this badge - one with "Made in Taiwan" and a very slightly later one with "Made in China".

Sometimes these badges are mounted vertically equidistant from the rows of lugs, sometimes slightly above. There doesn't seem to be any particular reason for this.
