Here's a rarity if ever there was one!  

Bought by Julio from Neko Music in Japan to add to his expanding collectiion, there's very little information about this unusual 12"x7" Orion Traditional Series model. Best guess is that it was produced somewhere around the mid-late 90s, as the 1997 catalogue cover still carried that branding on the top-end series, despite the kits in the catalogue carrying the Orion Classic badge. There's no 12"x7" snare listed there but there is in a contemporaneous Japanese catalogue. 

Regardless, it's a beautiful piece of kit. フリオさん、おめでとうございます！
