30th Anniversary celebrations...and a new snare! To celebrate Mapex's third decade, the limited edition Modern Classic was added to the range. 

• This is a 14"x6.5" 8-ply, 8.2mm thick walnut shell that was specifically made to echo the Deep Forest Walnut range of the 1990s. It's a bit of a mix between the looks of the original series and the shell thickness of the later models.  

There's no information about the rest of the Black Panther range, which was probably just marking time waiting for the major refresh in 2020.
