On the trail of a Drumfest Unicorn

Limited Edition Drumfest 12"x5" Black Panther

I've been trying to track down some information about some other "unicorn" snares (the 14x5.5 and 14x6.5 Flat Black Maple with Black Hardware) and got a lead from Anthony Johns from another group that he got his from PMT in 2007.

Ok - fire up the Wayback Machine and strap in...

Unfortunately I haven't found anything yet on the WBM snapshots...but I spotted a 12"x7" Birdseye Maple listed in 2006 which might be this one (no photos annoyingly, but it's a decent possibility at least!)

And then I did a double take...

What in the name of the wee man  - a 12"x5" Drumfest Limited Edition?!! Again, aggravatingly there are no photos, no further information on the PMT site, and so far no photos on searching Google. But I've only been digging for a few hours...let's see what turns up.

Any information on this one REALLY greatly appreciated...
