2010
The year everything changed. Gone are Low-Mass Oval lugs, Orion throw-offs, Die Cast and Power hoops and series with multiple sizes named by shell type. In come Sculpted Shield and High Tension Tube lugs, Cylinder Drive throw-offs, Sonic Saver hoops and individually named models.
Notes:
- The badges were the Tall Rounded Rectangle type when the range was changed in 2010, but were replaced by the New Logo Rectangle type after the Mapex rebrand in 2012. You'll see examples of the new models with either badge - the Rounded Rectangle badge examples were just produced slightly earlier.
- The Orion series has gone completely, leaving the Saturn range as the top end Mapex kits before the Black Panther kits appear in 2011.
